This package has more fully configurable options then ever before, which cater for an extremely wide range of requirements. It can be tailored to suit your needs.

Virtual Roster Enterprise has been developed with large scale operations in mind, the Healthcare industry or a Casino for example. These operations generally have fairly complicated rosters and Virtual Roster Enterprise handles them easily. Using Virtual Roster Enterprise will increase productivity and reduce administration costs.

Workload Management

Workloads are a management planning tool and can be used to plan future labour allocation.

Workloads allow you to specify your standard operating conditions, then only making adjustments for the 'out of the ordinary'. Each shift may be optionally set up to specify different times based on the status of the employee that collects the shift.

Each workload can specify an unlimited number of skills as requirements, and proficiency requirements can be set on a skill-by-skill basis for the workload.

A minimum and maximum age can be set for each workload, so you can be assured that employees who collect the workload are meeting all legal requirements when it comes to, for example, gaming and alcohol service, or plant and equipment operation.

Skills and Proficiencies

Each employee is able to acquire a skill. The skill is then added to the employee. The employee is not only assigned the skill, but is given a proficiency level, based on their abilities at using the skill.

Now, when creating shifts you have the ability to nominate a required skill that an employee must have to be assigned a shift. To further ensure you get the right employee for the shift you can nominate a maximum and minimum proficiency. The employee rostered to the shift will have all the skills required between the maximum and minimum proficiencies nominated for the shift.

Full Split-Shift Support

Full split shifts are supported. Using the employees' awards as a guide, Enterprise can roster multiple shifts per day, in splits, full shifts or any combination. Each shift has it's own location and set of skill requirements.

Security

Virtual Roster Enterprise has also had user level definable security added to the package.Full control of your information is provided through the use of users and accounts. Control who can see what and who can edit what.

Virtual Roster Enterprise uses tried-and-tested cryptographic techniques to protect your data from prying eyes. Even 'hacker' types who try to get information by analysing the data files will learn nothing about your company without the proper access privileges.

Rostering

Virtual Roster Enterprise creates rosters automatically assigning staff to shifts according to your specifications. Here are a few:

  • Maximum and Minimum Hours
  • Employee Classifications
  • Full-time, part-time and casual staff
  • Breaks, sickness and holidays
  • Staff who either must or must not work together
  • Skills proficiencies andpreferences
  • Roster by location, team or both

Once rostered it can be fully or partially re-scheduled at any time. Any conflicts, violations and or unfilled shifts are flagged and can be edited by manually assigning staff or by swapping existing allocations. If swapping or moving a shift causes a parameter to be broken a message will appear informing the user of the problem and then allows it to be overridden if necessary.
